TRAVIS KIRK COOMBS OFF BROADWAY (NYC): Honestly Abe (Abe Lincoln), Piggy Nation(Swing, Guitar); REGIONAL: Hairspray (Link), RENT (Mark), Footloose (Ren), The Rocky Horror Show (Brad), The 25th Annual…Spelling Bee (Chip), Sordid Lives (Ty), and Cinderella (Prince). Travis is a singer/songwriter, a jingle composer, and has written two musicals; "Sole Mates: A Laundry Love Story" and "Hell: The Musical." Director of Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Musical Theatre Instructor at Athletic and Performing Arts Center, and Associate Artistic Director of Eklektix Theatre. BFA in Theatre from Texas State University.

 

ROBBYN MATHEWS Robbyn is a proud member of Actors Equity Association for over 20 years as well as a 30 year member of The International Thespian Society. Broadway credits include: Diary of a Black Man and Through the Eyes of a Black Man. Regional Theatre credits include: Spring Awakening, Checkmate, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Midsummers Night Dream, Shaking the Mess Out of Misery, It’s Hot’l Baltimore, as well as Secrets, and Confessions of a Preacher’s Wife directed by Bryan-Keyth Wilson. Robbyn holds a BFA in Theatre Performance and BA in Public Relations from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is the proud grandmother of 20 month year old Bayhli.

 

TOMAS TORRES* Tomas Javier Torres III is excited to be performing for Eklextix Theatre Company for a second time. Tomas is currently a Drama major at San Jacinto College (South campus) as well as studying under Bryan- Keyth Wilson in acting, and Benjamin Luss for voice at Bay Area Theatre & Voice Academy (BATAVA). Tomas began his theatre career designing lights and sound but moved into acting not long after due to his long term dream of performing and entertaining crowds. He plans to move to Chicago in the fall of 2013 and continue his theatrical studies and receive bachelors in focus of acting as we'll as a minor in music. Tomas's show experiences include "Cabaret" (Herman), "It’s a Wonderful Life" (Uncle Billy), "Spring Awakening" (Robert). Tomas would like to thank his mother and the rest of his family for their loving support in his choice of career as well as the returning patrons from "Spring Awakening" in supporting the Eklextix Theatre Company. ​​

DEVIN A. WHITTEN Is an Acting Major at the University of Northern Colorado. Credits include: Wendla (Spring Awakening). Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Hester Swane (By the Bog of Cats), Ma Joad (The Grapes of Wrath), Cathy Hiatt (The Last Five Years), Female Voice (WASP), Snoopy (You're a Good...Brown), Smitty Smith (H2$), and Polly Peachum (The Beggar's Opera). She is a Tommy Tune Nominee, a three time Texas UIL Best Actress winner, and has studied in New York with the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She feels extremely blessed to work with this skilled cast, crew, and the Eklektix Theatre Company; and to have the opportunity to work with such a beautiful, strong, and important piece of theatre history. “Talent is like electricity. WHITNEY WYATT Whitney grew up around music and theater in the Houston area before attending Westminster Choir College in Princeton NJ, majoring in vocal performance. She returned to Houston and continued her studies at San Jacinto South. Since then, Whitney has directed and music directed both children and adult theater, as well as teaching private voice lessons. She also served on the Board of Directors at Harbour Playhouse from 2005-2009, and is currently a member of the Gulf Coast Music Association. Some of her favoite performances on stage include: Singing In The Rain (Lina Lamont), How To Succeed In Business (Smitty), You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Snoopy), Once Upon A Mattress (Lady Larkin), The King And I (Tuptim), The Wizard Of Oz (Glenda), The Rocky Horror Show (Phantom), Annie Get Your Gun (Annie), The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas (Angel), The Full Monty (Vickie), Little Shop Of Horrors (Chiffon), Into The Woods (Bakers Wife), Chicago (Velma), A Chorus Line (Maggie), Rent (Mark's Mom), Fahrenheit 451 (Mildred), The Curious Savage (Lilly Belle), A Comedy Of Errors (Adriana), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Titania), and Noises Off (Poppy).
